Emergency services were alerted to a collision at approximately 9:50 AM. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the incident.

A male driver, who was operating one of the involved vehicles, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police have not yet disclosed his age.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries resulting from the crash. Mill Lane has been closed in both directions, affecting the stretch between Read Street in Hyde and Northstead Avenue in Denton.

According to Greater Manchester Police, the road has been deemed 'blocked,' and officers are currently present at the scene. Eyewitnesses have noted that police are redirecting traffic away from the area.
